Amla Pudina Sherbet is a very easy to prepare, delicious and healthy drink for all seasons and reasons.

Amla Pudina Sherbet is an ideal drink for people of all ages and preferences.

I learnt to prepare this Amla Pudina sherbet recently from my parents. My father had tasted it at an acquaintance’s place and after he came home, he told my mother about the drink and both of them tried it and loved it, then they shared the recipe with me.

So, let us see how to prepare this amla pudina sherbet.

Firstly, take fresh amla (gooseberry).

Then, take fresh pudina (mint leaves) along with the very tender stems of the pudina (mint leaves).

Take sugar (shakkar). If you are a diabetic then you may add artificial sweetners but the quantity of the sweetner will change.

Deseed the amla (gooseberry) and put it in a mixer.

Then, add the pudina (mint leaves).

Grind the amla (gooseberry) and pudina (mint leaves) with little water (paani) and then strain it and collect it in a bowl. Then add little water (paani) again to the residue, grind again and strain.

Then, add water (paani) and sugar (shakkar) to the above concentrate. Use boiled or filtered water (paani) as there is no cooking involved while preparing this drink.

Your Amla Pudina Sherbet is ready!!! You may serve this chilled or at room temperature.

Step 1

Take 125 grams fresh amla (gooseberry) and deseed it. Take 1/2 cup of fresh pudina (mint leaves) along with the tender stems of the pudina (mint leaves).

Put the amla (gooseberry) and pudina (mint) in a mixer along with 50 ml water (paani) and grind it. Then, strain it and collect the concentrate in a bowl. Again, add 50 ml water (paani) then, grind and strain it.

Now, add sugar (shakkar) and the remaining 900 ml water (paani). After the sugar (shakkar) melts, you may refrigerate it or serve it at room temperature. Your Amla Pudina Sherbet is ready!!!
