Ash Gourd Juice or Rakh Lauki Juice is a very simple but delicious juice.

Ash Gourd Juice or Rakh Lauki Juice is extremely good for your health.

Also known as Winter Melon or Wax Gourd, ash gourd is a very verastile vegetable and available throughout the year. So, one can prepare it whenever one wishes. It grows on wines and not on trees.

Ash Gourd  has many health benefits. It is very high in dietary fibre. Almost 95% of the Ash Gourd is composed of water. It is rich in vitamins B and C. Ash Gourd is also rich in minerals like iron, potassium. zinc, calcium and magnesium. It helps in increasing energy and boosting sharpness of mind.

There is a small story behind making this juice. Once, we landed up with too many ash gourds given by our family friends as there was a bumper production. So, after preparing many dishes, there was still some ash gourd left. Not in the mood to prepare any dishes, my mother and I decided to prepare a juice out of it. Well, it turned out great and we drank it to our hearts content.

Now, let us see how to prepare this juice.
