Garlic Dry Coconut Chutney is a chutney made from dry coconut and raw garlic.
Garlic Dry Coconut Chutney is extremely healthy and equally delicious. It is also vegan and gluten free chutney.
This garlic dry coconut chutney can be prepared very easily. It is one of my most favourite chutneys. You might be a little hesistant because the garlic is raw but rest assured you won’t feel the rawness of the garlic.
Now, let us see how to prepare this easy, tasty and healthy garlic chutney.
Firstly, take garlic (lehsun) cloves. You may remove the skin if you like, I haven’t because I like it with the skin.
Then, take dry coconut (sukha nariyal).
Cut the dry coconut (sukha nariyal) into pieces.
Grind the dry coconut (sukha nariyal).
Add the garlic (lehsun) cloves.
Then, add salt (namak) as per taste. Grind it along with the ground dry coconut (sukha nariyal)
Remove it in a mixing bowl and add Tikhalal red chilli (lal mirch) powder for hotness and Kashimri red chilli (lal mirch) powder for colour. You can increase or decrease the quantity as per your preference.
Mix it properly and your garlic dry coconut chutney is ready!!! You may eat it with any flat bread or dosas.
You may add a litlle coconut oil to the chutney while eating it. It imparts a lovely taste to the chutney.
