Instant Pineapple Halwa is an amazing treat for those sweet taste buds.

Instant Pineapple Halwa is one of the easiest and simplest halwas of all time.

Halwa or halva is a sweet dish with a dense texture. It is famous in the Middle East, West Asia, Central Asia, South Asia and North Africa.

The diaspora of the above countries have made this popular all over the world especially the Western world, Australia and New Zealand.

Moreover, this halwa requires custard powder , sugar (shakkar) , water (paani), pineapple (annanas) pieces, edible food colour, pineapple essence and ghee (clarified butter).

It is a great alternative to your regular halwa. Serve it to your friends and family at parties and they will definitely ask for more.

Now, let us see how to prepare this delicious instant pineapple halwa.

Take corn flour.

Then, take sugar (shakkar). You may change the quantity of sugar (shakkar) depending upon your preference.

Take water (paani).

Cut the pineapple (anannas) slices into pieces. Make sure you use a pineapple which is sweet and not too sour. You can also change the quantity of pineapple (anannas) pieces as per your preference.

Then, take some edible yellow food colour.

Also, you will need pineapple essence.

Mix the pineapple essence with the food colour with some water (paani).

Mix all the ingredients together.

Heat ghee (clarified butter) in a kadhai (wok).

Once the ghee (clarified butter) melts, add the mixture.

Stir it continuously. Cook it on a medium flame.

Switch off the gas flame once the mixture reaches the consistency of a halwa.

Grease a tray with ghee (clarified butter).

Pour the halwa in the tray. Add little ghee (clarifed butter) to the back of the spatula and use it to level the halwa.

Once it cools down, cut it into desired shapes and devour.

Step 1

Cut the 3 slices of pineapple (anannas) into small pieces. Grease a tray by applying 1 tsp ghee (clarified butter).

Take a pinch of yellow food colour, 5 drops of pineapple essence and add little water. Take 1 cup corn flour, 1 cup sugar (shakkar), 2 cups water and mix together. Now add the mixture of the yellow food colour and pineapple essence along with the chopped pineapple (anannas) pieces.

Step 3

Heat 2 tsp ghee (clarified butter) in a kadhai (wok). Once it melts, add the mixture and stir it continuously till it reaches the consistency of a halwa. Cook it on a medium flame. Once it is cooked, pour it in the greased tray. Apply 1 tsp ghee (clarified butter) to the back of the spatula and level the halwa.
