1/2 cup Pizza sauce
1 Onion (Pyaaz)
1 Capsicum (Simla Mirch)
1 Carrot (Gajar)
1/2 tsp Carrom seeds (Ajwain)
4 Cheese cubes
As per taste Dried Herbs
s per taste Red Chilli (Lal Mirch) Flakes
1 tbsp Cooking Oil (Tel)

Khari Biscuit Pizza is an excellent starter or finger food for parties and get togethers.

Khari Biscuit Pizza has the best of both, Khari Biscuit and Pizza sauce.

We are all aware of Khari Biscuit which is crispy, flaky and melts in the mouth.

Most of us have it with our tea (chai)/coffee. Most people also like to dunk it in their hot beverages before eating it.

But what if you were to give this delicious khari biscuit a wonderful twist by turning it into a pizza. In this dish, we use khari biscuit as the base and top it up with sautéed veggies and grated cheese.

Sounds interesting right!!! You can either use home made pizza sauce or store bought.

If there are too many khari biscuits which are not being eaten often, prepare this and it will disappear for sure.

For the topping, chop desired veggies. In a wok, heat cooking oil (tel), add carrom seeds (ajwain) and add the desired veggies. Saute till they are cooked. Apply pizza sauce over the khari, place the sauteed veggies and add grated cheese. Now , place these khari biscuits in an oven/ microwave/ pan and cook till the cheese melts completely.

Even though it sounds like an unhealthy dish, you can make it healthy by using whole wheat khari biscuits. Make the pizza sauce at home using fresh ingredients. Add little grated cheese to the dish.

Voila!! Now you can have this starter guilt free. So, if you have any khari biscuits at home try this right away. Nice way to beat those hunger pangs along with giving a treat to your taste buds.

Finely chop the veggies and grate the cheese cubes.

Heat cooking oil (tel) in a wok, add carrom seeds (ajwain), then add the onions (pyaaz), then add carrots (gajar) and then add capsicum (simla mirch), salt and dried herbs and red chilli (lal mirch) flakes.

Now take a wholewheat (gehun) khari biscuit and apply the pizza sauce, then add the sautéed veggies and finally add the grated cheese.

Now, repeat the same process with the other ones.

Now place them on a plate and microwave for a minute/till the cheese melts. Alternatively, you can also place them on a pan and cover it with a cloche till the cheese melts.
