Lemon Mint Sabja Sherbet is a very easy and delicious drink especially to get respite from the intense heat.

Lemon Mint Sabja Sherbet is prepared with 5 ingredients which are easily available in any kitchen.

I learnt this Lemon Mint Sabja Sherbet from my parents. They are complete foodies and keep experimenting with different ingredients. I have imbibed the passion for food from them.

So, let us see how to prepare this delicious sherbet.

Firstly, take drinking water (paani) in a vessel.

paani

Add sabja (basil seeds) in the water (paani).

put sabja seeds in the water

Then, add sugar (shakkar) and lemon (nimbu) juice and keep aside.

put shakkar and nimbu juice

Take fresh mint (pudina) leaves.

pudina

Grind the mint (pudina) leaves with little water (paani). The amount of water (paani) should be so much that it should be just enough for the blades to grind the mint (pudina) leaves.

put the pudina leaves in a grinder

Strain the mint (pudina) juice and add it to the rest of the ingredients.

put the pudina concoction through a strainer

Mix everything properly and keep it in the refrigerator for 2 hours. You may also allow it to rest at room temperature. If the sherbet rests for 2 hours, it enhances the taste of the drink by manifolds.

mix all the ingredients together

Serve Chilled.
