Musk Melon Vegan Shake is a very healthy drink prepared with fresh, sweet musk melon, coconut milk, jaggery and cardamom powder.

Musk Melon Vegan Shake is an ideal drink for vegans and people who are lactose intolerant.

This Musk Melon (kharbooja) Vegan Shake is an ideal drink during summers as all the ingredients have a very cooling effect on the human body. Not to forget, it is also very healthy and filling. The addition of jaggery (gud) instead of sugar (shakkar) increases it’s health quotient.

Let us now see how to prepare this Musk Melon Vegan Shake.

Firstly, take fresh, sweet, ripe musk melon (kharbooja). Do not use over ripe musk melon (kharbooja) as it will ruin the taste.

Peel it and chop into small pieces. If you cut it into small pieces, it becomes easier to grind it to a smooth consistency.

Grind the musk melon (kharbooja) pieces to a smooth consistency. You may add a little water (paani) if the musk melon is not grinding properly.

Take freshly prepared coconut milk (nariyal ka doodh). The coconut (nariyal) that I used yielded a lot of milk so I used only one. If the coconut that you have used does not yield much milk then use more coconut (nariyal).

Then, take jaggery (gud).

Chop the jaggery (gud) pieces and add it to the coconut milk (nariyal ka doodh) and let it dissolve.

Now, add the musk melon (kharbooja) puree to it and add green cardamom (choti elaichi) powder.

Mix everything properly, refrigerate it and while serving pour it into glasses. You may also add a few finely chopped musk melon (kharbooja) pieces if you like.

Step 1

Take 1 1/2 Kg musk melon (kharbooja), peel and cut it into small pieces and grind it to a smooth consistency.
