6 Brown/Multigrain Bread slices
1 cup Coriander (Dhania) leaves
1/4 cup Mint Leaves (Pudina)
3 Green chillies (Hari mirch)
3 tbsp Grated coconut (Nariyal)
As per taste Salt (Namak)
2 tbsp Butter (Makhan)
1 tsp Chat Masala
1 (Cut into round slices) Cucumber (Kakdi)
1 (Cut into round slices) Tomato (Tamatar)
2 tbsp Water (Paani)

Vegetable Sandwich is one of the tastiest and easiest dishes to make and eat.

Vegetable Sandwich is the ultimate finger food. You can have it at any time of the day and feel refreshed. There are hundreds of varieties when it comes to sandwiches. This recipe is a simple one which is delicious and time saving.

I have been eating this sandwich ever since I was a kid. The combination of the butter, green chutney and veggies makes my taste buds tizzy. The green chutney made from coriander and mint leaves gives it a lip smacking taste. I can have it any time of the day and any number of times. I can never get bored of it.

To make the chutney just grind all the ingredients together. First, apply butter to the bread to one side of the bread. Repeat for another slice of the bread. Now apply chutney over the bread for both the slices. Make round slices of the vegetables of your choice. In case you are adding potatoes, boil them before cutting. Place them in between the slices of bread. You can cut the sandwich in any shape of your choice. You can eat it with tomato ketchup as well. I prefer to eat it without any sauce or ketchup.

You can use any type of bread. I prefer whole wheat or multi grain bread. I always like to find ways to make any dish as healthy as possible.

It is also a great option for children for their tiffin box.

Step 1

Grind coriander (dhania) leaves, mint (pudina) leaves, green chillies (hari mirch), grated coconut (nariyal) and water (paani).

Take two slices of bread and apply butter (makhan) on one side of the bread. Sprinkle little chat masala on the bread.

Apply the green chutney on both sides, place the slices of cucumber (kakdi) and tomatoes (tamatar).

Keep on slice of bread over the other. Cut it into desired shapes.
